In my late 20s, I reached a point in my life where my anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt were quietly running the show. Despite career success in the entertainment industry as a television executive and "having it all together" on the outside, I felt anxious, disconnected from myself, and overwhelmed inside.
Through my own experience in therapy, I learned how to realign with who I really am—not the version of myself I believed I had to present as. When my therapist helped me understand how my anxiety was actually trying to protect me, and how my overthinking was at one point resourceful, that created a space for change to occur. The therapeutic healing process inspired me to uncover my authentic core values of creativity, impact, and autonomy. Realigning with these values empowered me to step away from a career in entertainment to pursue a career as a psychotherapist with a newfound confidence and self-understanding—but most importantly with joy in having found my calling.
Today, I'm passionate about helping others untangle the pressures, anxiety patterns, old childhood wounds, and distressing trauma impacts that keep them stuck, anxious, or afraid, so they can live with more ease and clarity in their lives and discover deeper meaning and true connection with themselves and others.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from University of Southern California (Cum Laude) and my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University (Magna Cum Laude). For my clinical practicum training, I completed over 900+ supervised clinical hours at Capital Area Counseling, a community mental health agency in Austin, Texas. This experience included working with high-acuity client needs in individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy.
My training is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based approaches, informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment Theory.
I am currently in EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Training (EMDR certified July 2025) to further support clients in healing from relational trauma, emotional neglect, and the deeper roots of anxiety and self-doubt. I utilize EMDR to support clients in reprocessing traumatic events and addressing stuck beliefs and challenging emotions.
I enjoy working with a wide range of adult clients and couples who seek relief from anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, relationship struggles, disordered eating concerns, major career, identity, or life transitions, and the lingering effects of past childhood wounds. My couples work is often centered around transitions: marriage, parenthood, or life changes causing communication distress. Whether you consider yourself "high-functioning" or simply tired of carrying old patterns alone, I aim to create a nonjudgmental, safe space that meets you where you are. I am also passionate about working with creatives and entertainment/media folks, ambitious female professionals, and entrepreneurs.
My aim is to help my clients realign with their authentic selves to discover more ease and balance in their lives. My style is holistic, warm, relational, and nonjudgmental. My belief is that trauma or the impacts of long-lasting stress can affect the brain, body, emotions, sense of identity, and relationships, so I believe in taking a holistic approach with my clients. I wholeheartedly view the client as the expert in their own life, and it is my aim to understand my clients from their mind, body, and spirit. I’m a minority and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and utilize cultural humility and curiosity in my approach. My role is to support my clients in reconnecting with themselves and healing old patterns to build deeper, more meaningful lives.
For many of my clients, therapy also includes addressing the lasting impacts of relational trauma, childhood emotional neglect, perfectionism, or growing up feeling like they had to take care of everyone else. These early experiences can quietly shape how we move through the world—fueling anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, or difficulty in relationships. My goal is to collaborate with my clients on those deeper wounds in a way that feels authentic, supportive, and at their pace.
When I'm not working with clients, I love spending time outdoors walking the lake with my family and friends and our golden retriever, Olive. I enjoy painting, reading, ceramics, barre, theater, seeing concerts, and watching indie films. I'm truly the happiest when I'm around the people I love the most—sharing a good meal, travelling, or spending time in nature.
